I've been thinking of doing what others here have obviously been doing: =
have a dedicated PC or laptop for CDJ and Slink-e, rather than having it =
run on my "workstation" PC. I don't want to use overkill, so can anyone =
tell me what the minimum spec for such a beast might be? Processor, =
memory, Windows OS, etc? I looked on the Nirvis site for this info, and =
searched the slink-e list messages since 27/7/99 (too bad the digest =
includes submissions as attachments -- this makes it harder to search =
for text) but couldn't find it. And I didn't see any easy way to search =
the BBS archives.
Any advice that people have concerning this, in particular from their =
own experience, would be appreciated. Please cc emails to my account =
directly, so I don't miss them.
Cheers,
Ron
