hi all, i'm new to this (one week with slinke, S350+300, CDJ on pentium
laptop). i got everything up and running with few difficulties.

but, last night, for reasons i can't fathom, i shut the system down and
found upon booting this a.m. that the master library 'lost' all disc slot
numbers! i needed to do a complete search on 'empty' slots in order to
recreate it.

has this happened before ( i have not searched the FAQ etc. because nirvis
server has been down since yesterday)? and, in any event, any ideas re what
might cause this strange behavior?

ps- there is now one disc which has artist/title/track info but no slot
number - as though is was 'removed'- don't know where it is but it hasn't
been removed. oh, also, last night i noticed that i couldn't get my
playlist entries to 'explode' (they do this a.m.) within the playlist. so
i did do a fair amount of playing around in order to dynamically change, in
real time, the track playing order.

this is a great facility. i hope this behavior was an anomoly, thanks, tom..
