The Happy 99 virus is a virus the replicates itself by attaching itself to
email messages. When you receive the virus you will get two email messages
one that is normal and another one that contains just a file attachment
called Happy99. If you open the file attachment you will see a fireworks
display and also infect your computer. Your computer will then start
duplicating every message you send with a happy99 attachment. Chances are
you won't know you have the virus until somebody comments on the fireworks
program you sent them. The one positive point is that the Happy99 is a
harmless virus as all it does is replicate itself though email.

If you have the Happy 99 virus or think you might have it, there are
programs which will check your computer for existence of the virus and if it
is found will remove it from your computer. Search the web for "happy99"
and you will find info on the virus and the cleaner programs.
