Sorry Chris, but living in a 2 Bedroom apt. [it's in New York City so it's smaller than you might think] I, unfortunately, can't justify a $350 speaker switch.
It looks like you do need the remote though. Too bad no one I know owns one because it would be much cheaper to just create a device file, rather than buy the remote.
