[slinkelist] Basic question

I'm new to this list and was hoping that one of you more knowlegable folks
could shed some light. I am running OK with my 2 changers but I want to
control my Sony STR-DB830 receiver from CDJ. I downloaded the device files
and added the devices in the CDJ setting file, bu thow do I issue commands.
Also/instead can I use the control-A1 on the receiver to have CDJ control it
via slinke? Sorry for the novice questions but I'm stumped.
