[slinkelist] CDJ on a network

My configuration is as follows, and it does work
Client - Windows 2000, CDJ, Cover art on C: drive, wireless 802.11
Server - Windows NT 4, slinkesrv, database
I have a persistent drive letter mapped from the client to the server in
order to connect to the database. I keep copies of the cover art on each
machine that I use as a client -- I have an older 2 Mbps wireless
connection, and using a central cover art repository slowed things down too
much.
By "share" the database I assume you mean one client at a time. Do NOT try
and run CDJ on two machines at once -- CDJ treats the "database" like a big
flat file, reading it into memory and writing it back out. Changes made to
the library on one machine can be overwritten by the other.

Subject: [slinkelist] CDJ on a network
I have slinkeserv running on my server with the slink-e attached to it. I
also run CDJ on this server. I know that I can attach to slinkeserv through
DCOM but can I also share the CDJ database on the server? I also haven't
tried DCOM under W2KPro, has anyone else?
