If I'm not mistaken you can do what you want now with the user defined
toolbar buttons. Just map each button to a specific search. It's all
documented in the help file under "CDJ."

Subject: [slinkelist] Enhancement Request: Search History

Last evening, I finally got around to setting up my Slink-e and letting CDJ
catalog
the CDs in my CDP-CX300 player.

Given the price, my expectations were rather high but I must say that I was
delightfully surprised how well this system works.

Once I felt that I knew the features well enough, I called my Wife over to
demonstrate its
capabilities and run through several usage scenarios.

My wife is always skeptical of my attempts to complicate our lives with
technology, however, she soon realized that managing a CD library with a
changer was beyond the abilities of a disorganized person.

During the demonstration, it became very apparent that there is a need to
preserve the most
recent search queries and allow the user to select from one of them as the
current search
string.

For added usability, I would also like to see the ability to assign user
defined names to
each of the queries.

This is a terrific piece of software and I would ordinarily not even ask
for such a convenience
such as this.
However, since enhancement requests seem rather common on this list, and I
have seen
similar requests recently, I thought that I would add my $.02.
