In Response To: Device names (David Da Costa)

the device "cdj" is a device you use to send commands to cdj. for example:

cdj:playlist_play

will tell cdj to start playing the current playlist

the device "cdjr" is a device which is used by cdj to send responses / status information to you. for example, cdj will send

cdjr:using_player[cd1]

when it begins using your CD 1 changer. you could take advantage of this in your map file to do something in response to this, e.g.

cdjr:using_player[cd1] {receiver:input_cd}
