All you need to access and read the database is VB. Naturally access reads it. Visual studio which comes with VB6 and Visual C++ has all the necessary tools to work with Access data bases inside VB. It is native to VB6. I am willing to bet it is in the visual studio C++ also. I have programs in my Home theater PC (VB based) that read the data base so I can build a list of what is in in it so I can scroll it on the monitor in large type. Drop me an email and I will send the subroutine source code for you to look at for that function
