A few of my 3-inchers came with the adapters (the CDs just snap into the middle of them). I'm not sure offhand where you can buy them, but I would suggest that you don't bother. In my experience, the 3-inch CDs pop out of the adapters rather easily with casual handling, so when your Sony goes to clamp down on them, it could be disaster. I would strongly recommend copying your 3-inchers to CD-R and solving the problem that way.
